Pre-launch information. This page explains current practices and planned policies. Certain commercial, account and community features are not yet available; remaining legal and operational details will be published before those features launch.
01

Browser Studio components

The browser speech system uses the Kokoro ONNX model and associated browser runtime. Their upstream licenses and any other included dependencies must be respected when distributing or hosting the app.

02

License notices

The public website already includes a full third-party notices document for the browser Studio, including upstream attribution and license text. That document is part of the distribution notices and should stay available.

03

Desktop model licenses

Humperdinck may support additional local inference engines and models including Qwen, Piper and other providers. Each model or voice pack may have distinct licensing, attribution, commercial-use and redistribution conditions. Packaging a model or downloaded asset does not itself convey broader rights.

04

Before distributing builds

Audit every bundled package, engine, voice sample, sound effect and model against its actual license and required notices. Keep copies of required legal text with the installer and update this page when the shipped bundle changes.

See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for related information.
